05/24/2010 • Phoenix, AZ – It’s time to brighten up Phoenix. This summer, Bright now Dental is lauching the “Brighten Up Phoenix” initiative by partnering with local organizations to support the members of the community who are helping others and doing their part to improve the quality of life in Phoenix as a whole.
With Dress for Success, Bright Now Dental is debuting “Brighten Up the Job Search,” providing women in the community, chosen by Dress for Success, to receive dental care and clothing to give them the confidence they need in interviews and on the job hunt. Bright Now Dental is also coordinating with a local artist for a program called, “Brighten Up the Mall” to revitalize vacant storefronts in local retail centers. A new site, www.BrightenUpPhoenix.com, will serve as an aggregator of news and stories about these programs and other individuals and groups in the Phoenix-area who are doing admirable work to support the community.
For “Brighten Up the Job Search”, each month eight women will receive up to $2,500 worth of free dental care from one of Bright Now Dental’s Phoenix area locations, as well as professional attire from Dress for Success Phoenix, and a salon makeover compliments of Sweet Hair Studio (www.sweethairstudio.com). Bright Now Dental will also serve as a drop-off location for anyone in the community wanting to donate gently-worn business attire to be donated to Dress for Success. Those donating will receive a complimentary Teeth Whitening Kit valued at $100*

Dress for Success works to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and life. Additionally, Bright Now Dental will partner with a local artist for “Brighten Up the Malls.” This initiative will help invigorate vacant storefronts in local malls that house Bright Now Dental locations by filling the empty windows with art and images of the community. Activities will include a call for art submissions and open house events, providing a celebratory occasion for the community.
